Work Parties
We hold Work Parties every 2nd Tuesday and 4th Saturday of the month.
Meet 10am at the car park.
The work involves the general maintenance of the Wildlife Reserve, which has been neglected for many years.
Tasks include clearing rhododendron on the eastern slopes, clearing brambles from Lower Camp and opening up the ‘Bulldozer track’ to sunlight.
You are welcome to join us for for an hour or two if you cannot make if for longer. The work parties are all-inclusive and there plenty for everyone to do, whatever level of abilities. Come along and have a bit of fun and improve the local countryside.
Tools and training are provided as needed. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring a packed lunch if you are staying for the day.
